In Memory Of In Loving Memory...

The hardest part about loving dogs is that they always leave us too soon.

This page is dedicated to the wonderful dogs with whom we have been fortunate enough to share our lives.  Rest easy, friends.

In Loving Memory of "Tooter"

AKC Ch. & ASCA Alt. Ch. Redbanks Ironhorse, UD, OA, NAJ, NAP, RJ-N, RS-N, JS-N

7/4/95 - 11/30/05

My Best Friend.  My Business Partner.  My Guardian Angel

For years, Tooter has been the face behind K9 Connection, his mesmerizing blue eye piercing the pages of my website and on my business cards.  He was my constant companion and savvy business partner.  He had the best temperament anyone could ever hope for - strong, tough and most importantly, stable.  He had a long list of friends, and if you were on that list, he made sure you knew it!  He was an absolute joy to train and together, we logged thousands of hours in the obedience ring.  For my son, Adam, he was a first-rate agility dog and the best Juniors dog a child could ever hope for.  He was a dream to show in any venue.

He gave us ten wonderful years before he was diagnosed with kidney cancer.  While we miss him more than words can convey, we are thankful for the time we had together.  His legacy lives on in our home via his daughter Scooter and his grandkids Roxy and Bravo.

We love you and miss you, Tooter!

In Loving Memory of "Riot"

ASCA OTCH Red Banks Fire City, UDX, MX, MXJ, NAP, NAP-J, RS-O, JS-O JV-O, GS-N

7/7/92 - 9/18/05

Riot was the dog of my dreams and he made them all come true.  He gave me his all.  A judge once commented, "If she walked off a cliff, that dog would happily go with her!"  No other dog will ever compare to him.  After a very successful obedience career, with many HITs and HCs, Riot went on to agility where, at the age of ten, he earned his MX and MXJ titles, along with many others.  What I loved most about him had little to do with titles.  His loyalty to me was infinite.  He was a wonderful friend and I will miss him forever.

In Loving Memory of "Tia"

7/10/89 - 5/04

Ramblewood's Tia of Red Banks, CDX, FDCH, OA, NAJ

My introduction to the breed that I love so much!  Tia was a beautiful, highly intelligent dog with wonderful drive and a loving personality.  She enriched our lives for nearly 15 years and is deeply missed.

In Loving Memory of "Gunner"

Ch. C-Jay's Gunner's Mate, CDX, NA, Flyball CH.

11/1/89 - 9/16/03

Obedience, Conformation, Agility, Flyball, Scent Hurdles, Hunting, Jogging Companion, Bed Warmer & Couch Potato...    Gunner did it all!  He will live on in our hearts forever.
